有趣的無人入住體驗哈哈哈哈 非常古老的建築和風格 還有一些可愛的旅客

服務品質和這棟旅館一樣古老。若不在他們工作時間入住，就不要來住了。我們已經事先多日前通知旅館我們會在他們下班時間後抵達，當日也再次通話知會，因為他們的只能靠傳訊息，才能得到開門的方法。而恰好我們的手機在旅行歐洲期間，只能通話及收訊息，無法回訊息。因此再三知會旅館。結果果然発生無法入住，他們工作人員還說打電話會有人接電話，結果全無。當天晚上十點多抵達，又低溫負2-3度。真令人失望。雖幸房客下來抽煙，才得以入住。隔天遇到應該是旅館主人，客氣告知，但平淡沒什麼回覆。希望要住此間旅館的朋友不會再遇到。這也是芬蘭此行唯一一間最沒溫度的旅館。

噢噢中央火車站大概10分鐘路程，下雪天拉著行李箱的話比較狼狽，但也有電車直達青旅樓下，位置算方便，也有電梯，但要在指定時間入住，而且無法寄存行李較為不便

Senate Hotel, although basic, is situated well for local attractions - 10 minutes walk from the shops/ restaurants/nightlife of Helsinki city centre; 15 minutes walk from the harbour, if you arrive by ferry; and right next to Senate Square/Helsinki Cathedral. The hotel, itself, is based in an apartment building, on the fifth floor, and has ten rooms. There's a five-hour window, in which there's a receptionist to meet you (3-8pm). Outside of this time, you are given a code to enter the main door of the building, and then the front door of the hotel section, which I had to do. As it turned out, a friendly staff member was still there when I arrived, and I was fortunate enough to be given a free room upgrade. The double room I was given, was larger than average, and included a wash basin and small refrigerator. The bathroom and toilets are shared, but clean with a good, strong shower, and separate men's and women's toilets. There's also a small shared kitchen, so you could prepare food. My hotel room had a comfy bed, and good thick enough curtains which, if you're here in the height of Summer, means you won't be woken by the sunrise before 4am! The decor is a bit dated, but if you need info on what to do, where to go, and what's happening in Helsinki, there's lots of information. This is more of a short-stay hotel - a few days, at most, but if you need a well-located, warm, simple place to base yourself while in the city, this is actually a good choice.

Nice location and friendly staff, and THAT’S ALL THE PROS. GUEST WI-FI IS DOWN throughout my stay and no alternative network is available, then I missed one online meeting. BEDSIDE SOCKET IS BROKEN, making it impossible to use the phone or tablet while charging, and the ADVERTISING IS QUITE MISLEADING —I booked a single room at 訂房網站, I thought it would be a room with private toilet, since nothing was mentioned in the title while other types of rooms are highlighted for the “shared bathroom”. Well, and the SOUNDPROOF can just be ignored. Maybe ‘Hostel’ is better for the name.

There is no way to get a key after 22:00. This is very inconvenient ; due to Finnish border issues we had over 10 hour delay. Hotel sees this as "no show", while the client simply shows up a bit later. Difficult to find as well.
